Elemental Business Centre signs a lease agreement with Danone Latvia

Elemental Business Centre, the newly built office rental complex in Riga’s Skanste district, has signed a rental agreement with French food producer Danone. The document provides that the company’s representative office in Latvia will lease office premises on the 8th floor of the Elemental Blue building with a total area of more than 600 m2.

Danone is one of the world’s leading food groups, offering dairy products, plant-based products, beverages, baby foods and medical foods. The group owns brands such as Alpro, Activia, Actimel, Aptamil, and Nutridrink. The new Danone office in Elemental Business Centre is scheduled to open at the end of this year, when the company will move from its current location in Jaunā Teika.

“Danone is a company with a quality mark, whose brands are among the most recognisable in Latvia. As the company regularly focuses its communication on promoting various sustainability solutions, these values should be clearly reflected in its image. The office is part of the company’s image, part of its brand, so it is important that it represents that message. It’s no coincidence that we prioritised high energy efficiency and sustainability performance at Elemental Business Centre, because we believe that for modern, forward-looking companies like Danone this is just as important,” said Imants Krēsliņš, the Sales Manager of Elemental Business Centre.

“When looking for office premises, it was important for us to find an environment that provides both team productivity and collaboration, as well as sustainable solutions. That is why we also appreciate Elemental Business Centre winning the BREL Forum Professional Jury Award in the Best Green Initiative category last year. We are confident that Danone’s new office will help strengthen the company’s culture by creating an environment that supports innovation and strengthens team spirit. At the same time, it fits perfectly into Danone’s hybrid working model, providing the right space for the team to work both on-site and remotely, “ Ausra Zaksaite, a Danone Board member and Marketing Director in the Baltics and Nordics region, said.

Elemental Business Centre is an office rental complex consisting of two interconnected office buildings – Elemental Green and Elemental Blue. The buildings are currently occupied by tenants such as GelvoraSergel, Aizdevums.lv of the Swedish financial holding company Marginalen AB group, the international IT service company Arvato Systems, CV Market, Primend, Kapitel, Dyninno Group, Fiziocentrs, co-working spaces Spaces, NordAgri, Hortimed and Rimi.

Elemental Business Centre is currently leased out by 92%, with 1700 m2 of office space still available for rental. Premises are available for companies of all sizes, starting from 100 m2.
