Elemental Business Centre has signed a cooperation agreement with hybrid coworking brand Spaces
The upcoming office building complex Elemental Business Centre in the Skanste neighbourhood has signed a cooperation agreement with the renowned hybrid coworking space brand Spaces, which is part of the global holding company IWG. The total area of the leased premises will be 2300 m2 across two floors of one Elemental Business Centre building.
Imants Krēsliņš, sales manager of Elemental Business Centre, says that common areas of Spaces are planned to open already at the end of this year.
“Along with changing work models, the role of offices is also changing, as a result of which coworking spaces have become increasingly relevant in recent years. When we started the construction of Elemental Business Centre, we anticipated that one of our offers would be the rental of coworking spaces, so we are proud of the signed contract with Spaces. The fact that an internationally renowned brand will be renting premises from us is a testament to our standing as one of the premier lessors of office space in Riga,” says I. Krēsliņš.
In addition to Elemental Business Centre, Kapitel, the developer, has other projects where IWG’s co-working spaces are available, including locations in Tallinn and Prague.
Representatives of the hybrid coworking space brand Spaces indicate that the brand is expanding its availability in Riga by choosing to rent premium-class office space with the highest standards of energy efficiency and sustainability.
“IWG chose Elemental Business Centre as the second location of Spaces in Riga due to two factors: first, we have successful cooperation in other countries and Kapitel is a reliable long-term partner. Secondly, which is no less important, we chose Elemental Business Centre precisely because of the uniqueness of this project. IWG is paying increasing attention to environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues, greener and more sustainable solutions, and with all these factors in mind, Elemental Business Centre fits our vision for the future of office space. I am sure that the clients of Spaces will appreciate the ESG principles we follow and the advantages, both ethical and financial, that can be obtained in the Spaces premises in the Elemental Business Centre”, says Jekaterīna Kosmačeva, head of IWG in the Baltics, Georgia and Belarus.
